School-age kids can sign up to participate in our summer reading program at this fun event! Families and children of all ages are welcome to attend and enjoy.

This event will feature a fun scavenger hunt activity with the Kalkaska Conservation District, and live entertainment by Save Our Oceans featuring real live reptiles and amphibians!

Register your kids for the program, and they will receive a free t-shirt and badge book to chart their reading progress. All who complete their summer reading goals will get the chance to enter to win on of our wonderful prizes — from a brand new bicycle to a kayak trip with Paddle Antrim to a $200 gift card, and more!

Animal shows will happen at 2:00pm and 3:00pm. You may sign up for the program any time between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

The theme for Summer Reading 2022 is Oceans of Possibilities — and so we encourage you to ask yourself: what is possible?
