Located at the Kalkaska County Library. 247 S. Cedar St, downtown Kalkaska.
PARTICIPANTS PLEASE BRING: a camera, tablet, or phone for photos, and a notebook or other writing materials to record your haiku.
This event will begin in the building with some information sharing, tips, and tricks, and end by practicing what you’ve learned in the library’s pollinator garden.
Ellen Whitehead is a prizewinning poet from Kalkaska County. She has been a featured speaker at Poet’s Night Out in Traverse City, and her poems have been published in Peninsula Poets and Walloon Writers chapbooks. She has been writing poetry for 60 years, since age 10!
