Join us for Tax-preparation week at the Kalkaska County Library!
Tax-preparation professionals will be here to offer a series of IRS e-file workshops to help you file with confidence, along with one-on-one assistance for eligible participants, absolutely free!
Did you know the easiest way to file your taxes is electronically? Tax professional Dawn M. Moses, of Sensible Solutions, LLC, will be offering a series of e-file workshops at the Kalkaska County Library branches, February 11th through the 14th.
Why file your taxes electronically? First off, it’s easy! It’s free if your income falls within the qualifying thresholds through the IRS Free File program. It’s convenient. It’s safe and secure. And you’ll get your refund faster than a paper check.!
There will be repeats of this event held all week! Check the list of dates below to see which one works best for your schedule:
Tuesday, February 11th, 10:00am at the Main Branch.
Wednesday, February 12th, 1:00pm at the Main Branch.
Thursday, February 13th, 12:30pm at the Coldsprings Branch.
Friday, February 14th, 9:00am at the Garfield Branch.
This class will be led by Dawn M. Moses. Dawn is the founder and president of Sensible Financial Solutions, LLC, an hourly, as-needed financial planning and registered investment advisory firm. Dawn has experience in the banking, insurance, and investment industries, providing trusted, individual advice for over 13 years, and is a member of the Garrett Financial Planning network. She also is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and offers tax preparation services as part of her practice. She specializes in providing sensible common-sense recommendations to people from all walks of life.
